If you don’t yet love your body as your own, sometimes it helps to think of it as a Thing you are capable of caring for.
That’s kinda how I came to start taking better care of myself. I would think “I’m an animal. I care for the animals in my house and they bring me a lot of joy. So I should also care for the animal that is me” and I think it helped. I go out more, I exercise more. I eat better, etc.
