I use Cinema 4D as my primary program (Blender a free alternative) and then do post/paint over work in Photoshop if a still or After Effects if animated. Side programs I use are Zbrush (modeling), Daz (human bases), Forester (plants), Quixel Bridge (assets). Rendering I alternate between Redshift and Octane.

Bro I miss seeing art like yours and be it made by real people because like. People can be so creative and that can make such cool things that other people might’ve not ever think of. Your art kinda feels nostalgic ngl

Thank youu, sending a high five through the screen. While I love futurism, this wasn't the flavor I wanted, so I'll continue creating in the retro-future/solarpunk aesthetic I enjoy organically, pixel by pixel.

I go to a lot of industry conferences/events and it is very interesting to see the shift over the years of an "adopt or die" mindset by more peers than I'd prefer (for GenAI). So yeah, I'm tired but it also re-ignited a cynical passion to improve my work with my own hands.

Do you actually create your own art? I’ve seen a lot of generative ai “art” that doesn’t get tagged properly so I’m a tentative whenever I see a new to me artist

Human made since April 2015. Scrolling through Instagram/Tumblr has all my work dated. I didn't transition to or train GenAi for my work. This includes for personal and client work. Primary reasons being most, if not all, databases are not ethically trained. Additionally I'm not able to have 100% of my own conscious decision making using GenAi which is important to my practice.
