Huxley and Amelia headcanons
● Due to their size difference, Amelia can carry Huxley in her arms easily. Not that Huxley minds, he'd happily flop into her arms
● They have a variety of nicknames for one another. Aside from the usual "darling" or love" their favorites are making up new titles for one another. Like "Huxley the handsome" or "Amelia the divinely beautiful"
● Huxley usually calls Amelia "Mimi" for short. He is the ONLY one who is allowed to call her that
● After they first got acquainted, Huxley was able to convince Amelia to join the Royal Beamguide to better explore Orbona. It was what allowed both of them to spend more time together and eventually fall in love. Nowadays, Amelia spends most of her time helping around in their village, but does still occasionally go out scouting like she used to
● Amelia decided to reside in Huxley's village once they got married. Mainly because the harsher cold of her home would've been pretty hard for Huxley to live in. That and her village wasn't too happy that she decided to get married to someone that they saw as weak
● When the two got married, they gave each other one of their teeth as a charm. It's the Mirthian equivalent of a wedding ring. A sign no matter how far a couple may be apart, they'll always have a part of one another. Huxley calls it "his lucky charm"
● Because of how often Huxley needs to leave home. He regularly writes to Amelia while he's away about what he's found and when he will be coming home
● Hailey, Vanpa, and Gen were the first to find out about Amelia when Huxley casually brought her up while they were heading back to his village. Though he forgot to bring up the fact that she was a lot bigger and scarier looking than he, so the 3 got a big fright when they first saw Amelia in person
● When Huxley found out about Redimus's growing feelings towards Terradora, he happily offered to give the Dorcean advice about dating and romance, much to Reddie's annoyance
● Amelia and Huxley have 2 young kids of their own. Hugo and Axel. Both boys were around 5 and 2 respectively at the time Huxley went missing
