i’ve experienced it on a much smaller scale, but the feeling of people caring more about your fictional characters than you really hurts.
i feel like to some im just a content machine and they want to get what they want out of me .. if i don’t make or confirm what they want, they get mad. after everything i’ve given to them too
people are mourning the loss of the miku x teto ship rather than the fact that they drove me off from my own work i loved. they don’t even realize the damage they’ve done
and some people act like they know my story better than me or feel entitled to it .. but it’s not, because it’s My Work!! and people keep forgetting that!
