i just read through my ‘friends’ tag and i’m even more sad than before

what do i do now ówò

so my “friend group” has a groupchat, right? yeah here’s how that’s going:

*silence in the chat for a few days*

me, trying to keep the groupchat alive: hi yall- wanna know something fun? :D […]

everyone else: *leaves me on read*

my best friend in the group: *literally mentions to me how he read my message but didn’t care enough in the moment to answer*

me, then: *kinda hurt*

*a day later*

the person that’s almost always mean to everyone: yall wanna hear my good news or bad news??? sike there’s no good news […]

everyone (except me) in the groupchat: *reply to them basically immediately, interested in what they have to say, actually make a conversation, etc*

me, now: *genuinely hurt*

and like normally this wouldn’t hurt me this much, but the thing is- especially in this gc i’ve always made an effort to reply to someone when the others all ignore it, bc i hatte the feeling of being ignored or left out. so like is really try to always reply even if it is a bit late sometimes, but i really didn’t want any of them to feel ignored or sth like that- and they all know how much i hate being like left out/overlooked/ignored like this, but they still do this to me (and like- this was not the first time and idk it just hurt)-

honestly recently my mental health has just like gotten so much better and i have absolutely no idea why

but im definitely not complaining lmao

yk sometimes i rly don’t like humanity bc of all the bad things happening like everywhere

but that’s exactly why moments of kindness to and from strangers are so important yk

it’s like a little reminder “hey, there are good people out there! no need to lose hope just yet!” and that makes me happy

i really wanna talk about these two drawings-

first of all; they make me incredibly happy asfdfgfjfjh

secondly (& more importantly lol-) the details about them!!!

now, there are some obvious similarities between the two images- like that uraraka is wearing her hero costume in both of them, or that toga is smiling in both of them, or just generally their positions are pretty similar

but there’s also some differences!!

like in the sketch, toga is the one holding onto uraraka, and it looks like uraraka isn’t reciprocating at all, right? in fact, i‘d even go as far as to say that uraraka looks slightly uncomfortable in the sketch, at least in my opinion. i also think that toga looks just very excited.

but then in the newer drawing!! while their position at first glance isn’t all that different, when you look a bit closer, you can see uraraka holding onto toga as well. and not only that, but she generally looks like she’s slightly leaning into toga‘s touch/into her embrace. this is really interesting to me, because her facial expression is really similar to the sketch, but she still comes across as a lot more accepting of toga holding her. like i said tho, uraraka’s facial expression is just similar, not the same as in the sketch- she looks a bit more relaxed (maybe tired?) in this drawing. and on the topic of facial expressions, toga‘s expression is a bit different too. she looks calmer as well.

and like i said before, these details make me really happy for several reasons- but most notably is that i just really like this ship lol. but another reason is that the new drawing made me think of the traitor!uraraka theory immediately, and i really like that theory (because i think it‘d just add some depth to uraraka’s character & she’s generally in my opinion a pretty likely candidate as the traitor). but yeah-
