How Community Input Shapes the Agenda
Grace Hopper Celebration uses a multi-phase review process to ensure the final agenda reflects both community interest and program quality.
Phase 1: Public Voting
Public voting is a meaningful part of the CFP process. It helps highlight:
- Topics the community is most excited about.
- Emerging trends and areas of curiosity.
- Sessions gaining strong early momentum.
Voting is an important signal and one of several inputs considered as proposals move forward.
Phase 2: How to Vote
- Browse the full session catalog.
- Filter sessions by track, career level, experience level, and format.
- Search by speaker name, session title, or keywords.
- Click the ♥️ icon to vote.
- Select “Learn More” to review full session details.
*You may vote for multiple sessions.
Phase 3: Share and Tag Your Favorite Proposals!
- Click the social media icons in the top right corner of a session page.
- Share directly to your preferred platform.
- Tag colleagues, friends, or the speaker to spread the word.
The more visibility a session gets, the more momentum it can build within the community.
