This repository shows one possible approach to create a digital map of the Spahnish rivers and its basing.

First you need to download spatial data about both the Rivers of europe and the basisn.

RIVERS: https://data.hydrosheds.org/file/HydroRIVERS/HydroRIVERS_v10_eu_shp.zip
BASINS: https://data.hydrosheds.org/file/HydroBASINS/standard/hybas_eu_lev04_v1c.zip

Unzip both folders and have them ready to use. Also download spain_provinces.Rda from this repository and place it in the same folder.

Once you have the three files in the same folder you can rund the R code included in this repository.
