Do you know the last shadow Puppets too?? And what's your fav album?? If you can pick one because for me that's literally impossible

At the risk of sounding basic, AM is the album I listen to the most. I used to listen to it a lot when I was younger so it’s very nostalgic to me. And it has I Wanna Be Yours which, at the risk of sounding more basic, is like one of my favorite songs of all time. I melt listening to it.

Buttt. I’ve only just recently rediscovered how great Arctic Monkeys is and I’m going through the journey of listening to more of their songs now. It’s been a slow journey because I like soaking in songs to fully appreciate them, but now I feel like I should take this seriously and listen to their albums fully and individually instead of random songs on random days haha.

But yeah, I’m still getting to know them better and I love every song I listen to, but there’s something about AM that just hits different and it’s probably nostalgia. And I had no idea about The Last Shadow Puppets. I looked it up and I was like, wait that sounds exactly like Alex—turns out, it IS Alex! Lmao.

I took some time to check out your blog and I feel ridiculous; you’re actually so cool, WAYYYY cooler than I am. You’re like an old soul and I love it. Also playing guitar is, respectfully, so hot. And David Bowie?? This unlocked a memory too, I used to listen to Rebel Rebel and think of Sirius Black a LOT. Ah, the good old days… But to be honest I’m such a basic girl and I don’t wanna disappoint you by making you think otherwise lmao. But yeah, I'm kinda in this Arctic Monkeys phase right now, listening to them a lot, so I just chose one of their songs to put as my blog title—there’s something about this question “R U Mine?” that’s kinda possessive and desperate and I like it.

Anyway this is too long for no reason. You’re so cool Eli. I’m kinda all over the place when it comes to music. Not that cool, I fear. Let me know your top AM songs if you can choose them haha!

First of all, never ever let anyone reduce you to being "basic", especially not for liking certain things. AM is a really good pick, and I always say things are popular for a reason—it's just that good!! You're not basic for liking it (in fact, I think it's really cool B))

It's great that you're discovering them atm :D I had the same journey (I started out with AM and then I discovered more of their music). I actually think AM is the reason I've gotten into rock music as a whole, because I didn't listen to any rock songs before that.

If you like I Wanna Be Yours, perhaps you'll also like You're so Dark (such a good B-side), or their cover of Baby I'm Yours. Do Me A Favour is also an all time favourite of mine!!

The Last Shadow Puppets are great too, I think I love them equally (with maybe a bit more nostalgia for am). I think you'd really like Sweet Dreams, TN and My Mistakes Were Made For You. But literally all of their songs are great!!

See honestly I think it’s a such a good thing you can pace your self tho. Bc with me when I pick up a book it becomes my LIFE my EVERYTHING and I don’t do anything but read for days until I finish wtv series I’m on. It’s rlly…time stopping and makes me not only unproductive but I have to shut out everyone around me—bc I HAVE to know what happens next. (I also do dance!)

I’ve seen the deleted scene where Newt explains what happened 💔 (I’ll still take the good luck however, I’ll for sure need it) What I mean is that sometimes his injury seems to slow him down a lot, and others he seems just fine to keep up with the rest, so I’d appreciate an in depth of what he’s physically feeling at all times 😂 or like for it to be mentioned more at least
